Welcome to the webpage for the Interrupted Flow Subcommittee within ACP40, the TRB Committee on Highway Capacity and Quality of Service.
The purpose of the Interrupted Flow Subcommittee is to provide capacity and performance estimation procedures for the planning, operations and design of interrupted flow facilities, including:
Signalized intersections
Unsignalized intersections, including Two-way Stop Controlled (TWSC), All-way Stop Controlled (AWSC), and Roundabouts
Urban Streets
Ramp Terminals and Alternative Intersections (RTAI)
